PM Session:

Jazmine Parks, the Crisis and Community Education Manager at Safe Connections will help participants create improved mastery with the following objectives:

1) increase knowledge of LGBTQ+ terminology

2) develop a greater understanding of the assumptions and norms in regards to gender and sexuality

3) learn more about the negative outcomes associated with LGBTQ+ discrimination

4) equip participants with tools to create safer spaces for LGBTQ+ youth within various environments

Jazmine Parks earned her Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis in International and Area Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a minor in French. She has experience in program development and volunteer management in non-profits, as well as at data analytics at large firms.
